Data protection is a matter of trust and your trust is important to us. We respect your privacy and personal sphere. The protection and the lawful collection, processing and use of your personal data is therefore an important concern for us. To ensure that you feel safe when visiting our website and our online shops, we strictly observe the legal regulations with your personal data and would like to inform you here about our data collection and data usage.

If you merely visit our website, this data protection declaration contains information for you on how we handle your data within the legally permitted framework. If you have registered with the online shop, i.e. have created a customer account, you must expressly agree to this data protection declaration. With this consent to the following data protection declaration, you consent to the further collection, processing and use of your personal data by Abgeflogen Flywear GmbH, Meersburger Str. 6, D-88090 Immenstaad (hereinafter also “Abgeflogen”), subject to the following provisions. You can see which collection, processing or use of personal data may only be carried out on the basis of your consent already given with your consent to this declaration in the respective consent passages in bold type in the following data protection declaration. Only visitors of our website who have not logged in are not affected by this further data handling.

1. Responsible authority

Responsible for the collection, processing and use of your personal data within the meaning of the Federal Data Protection Act is Abgeflogen Flywear GmbH.
Meersburger Str. 6, D-88090 Immenstaad (hereinafter also: “Abgeflogen“).

If you wish to object to the collection, processing or use of your data by Abgeflogen in accordance with these data protection regulations as a whole or for individual measures, you can send your objection by e-mail or letter to the following contact data:

Abgeflogen Flywear GmbH
Meersburger Str. 6
D-88090 Immenstaad

2. Collection, processing and use of personal data

2.1 Personal Information
Personal data is information about the factual or personal circumstances of a specific or identifiable natural person. This includes, for example, your name, your telephone number, your address and all inventory data that you provide when registering and creating your customer account. Statistical data that we collect when you visit our online shop, for example, and that cannot be directly associated with your person at reasonable expense, are not included here. For example, these are statistics about which pages of our shop are particularly popular or how many users visit certain pages of Abgeflogen.

2.2 Customer account
For each customer who registers accordingly, we set up password-protected direct access to his stored inventory data (customer account). Here you can view data about your completed, open and recently sent orders and manage your address data, bank details and the newsletter. You undertake to treat the personal access data confidentially and not to make them accessible to any unauthorised third parties. We cannot accept liability for misused passwords, unless we are responsible for the misuse.

With the function “stay logged in” we would like to make your visit to our website as pleasant as possible. This feature allows you to use our services without having to log in again each time. For security reasons, however, you will be asked to enter your password again if, for example, your personal data is to be changed or you wish to place an order. We recommend that you do not use this function if the computer is used by several users. Please note that the “remain logged in” function is not available if you use a setting that automatically deletes saved cookies after each session.

2.3 Collection, processing and use of your personal data
Data protection is very important to us. Therefore, when collecting, processing and using your personal data, we strictly adhere to the legal provisions of the Federal Data Protection Act and the Telemedia Act.
In our online shop we collect, store and process your data for the entire processing of your purchase, including any subsequent warranties and the relevant service, technical administration and, insofar as legally permissible or with separate consent, our own marketing purposes. Your personal data will only be passed on or otherwise transmitted to third parties if this is necessary for the purpose of contract processing or invoicing or if you have given your prior consent. Within the framework of order processing, for example, the service providers (such as transport companies, logistics companies, banks) used by us receive the necessary data for order and order processing. The data passed on in this way may only be used by our service providers for the fulfilment of their tasks. Any other use of the information is not permitted and will not be made by any of the service providers entrusted by us.
For your order we need your correct name, address and payment data. We need your e-mail address so that we can confirm receipt of your order and communicate with you. We also use these for your identification (customer login). You will also receive your order and shipping confirmation via your e-mail address.
Your personal data will be deleted if the data is no longer required to fulfil the purpose for which it was stored, provided that this is not contrary to statutory retention obligations or if its storage is inadmissible for other legal reasons. In these cases, you can also assert a deletion claim.

2.4 Collection and Use of Your Data for Marketing Purposes
In addition to processing your data to process your purchase on Abgeflogen, we also use your data to communicate with you about your orders, certain products or marketing campaigns and to recommend products or services that might be of interest to you in accordance with the following sub-items.

You can object to the use of your personal data for marketing purposes at any time, either as a whole or for individual measures, without incurring costs other than the transmission costs according to the basic tariffs. Similarly, you may revoke any consent you may have given separately. A message in text form to the contact data mentioned under item 10 (e.g. email, letter) is sufficient for this.

2.4.1 Newsletter
We use the so-called double opt-in procedure for sending the newsletter, i.e. we will only send you a newsletter by e-mail if you have expressly confirmed to us beforehand that we should activate the newsletter service. We will then send you a notification e-mail and ask you to confirm that you would like to receive our newsletter by clicking on a link contained in this e-mail. By completing this separate double opt-in process, you have given your consent to receive the newsletter.

If you subscribe to the newsletter from the customer account, Abgeflogen may refrain from a new double opt-in, as your e-mail address has then already been checked for activation of the customer account by a confirmation link. In this case, a simple opt-in (by clicking a checkbox) in the customer account is sufficient.

If you do not wish to receive any newsletters from us at a later date, you can object to this at any time without incurring any costs other than the transmission costs according to the basic rates. A message in text form to the contact data specified under number 1 (e.g. e-mail, letter) is sufficient for this. Of course you will also find a unsubscribe link in every newsletter.

2.4.2 Sweepstakes, market and opinion research
In the case of lotteries, we use your data for the purpose of notifying you of a prize and, insofar as this is legally permissible or you have given your separate consent, for advertising our offers. You may find detailed information in our conditions of participation for the respective competition.

We also use your data for market and opinion research. Of course we use these exclusively anonymously for statistical purposes and only for Abgeflogen. Your responses to surveys will not be passed on or published to third parties. We do not store the answers from our surveys together with your e-mail address or other personal data.

3. Cookies

Accepting cookies is not a prerequisite for visiting our website. However, we would like to point out that the use of the shopping basket function and ordering products is only possible if you allow us to set cookies.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small files which are stored on your data carrier and which store certain settings and data for exchange with our system via your browser. Basically, there are two different types of cookies, so-called session cookies, which are deleted when you close your browser and temporary/permanent cookies which are stored on your data carrier for a longer period or indefinitely. This storage helps us to design our web pages and our offers accordingly for you and facilitates your use, for example by storing certain entries by you in such a way that you do not have to repeat them constantly.

What cookies does Abgeflogen use?

Most of the cookies we use are automatically deleted from your hard drive at the end of the browser session (hence session cookies). Session cookies are required, for example, to offer you the shopping basket function across several pages. In addition, we also use cookies that remain on your hard drive. During a further visit it is then automatically recognized that you have already been with us and which entries and settings you prefer. These temporary or permanent cookies (lifetime 1 – 2 years) are stored on your hard disk and delete themselves after the specified time. These cookies in particular serve to make our website more user-friendly, effective and secure. Thanks to these files, it is possible, for example, to display information on the site that is specifically tailored to your interests. The sole purpose of these cookies is to adapt our offer to your customer wishes in the best possible way and to make your browsing with us as comfortable as possible.

What data is stored in the cookies?

No personal data is stored in the cookies used by Kopfgetriebeöl. The cookies we use are therefore not directly assignable to a specific person and therefore also not directly to you. When the cookie is activated, an identification number is assigned to it. An assignment of your personal data to this identification number is not possible at any time and will not be made. On the basis of cookie technology, we may receive pseudonymous information, for example about which pages of our shop have been visited, which products have been viewed, etc.

What is onsite targeting?

On the websites of Abgeflogen, data is collected on the basis of a cookie technology to optimise our advertising and the entire online offering. These data are not used to identify you personally, but serve only a pseudonymous evaluation of the use of the homepage. Your data will never be combined with the personal data stored by us. With this technology we can present you with advertising and/or special offers and services whose content is based on the information obtained in connection with the clickstream analysis (for example, advertising aimed at the fact that only sports shoes have been viewed in the last few days). Our aim is to make our online offer as attractive as possible for you and to present you with advertising that corresponds to your areas of interest.

Our websites use so-called re-targeting technologies. We use these technologies to make our website more interesting for you. This technology makes it possible for Internet users who have already been interested in our online shop and our products to address our partners’ websites with advertising. We are convinced that the insertion of personalized, interest-related advertising is generally more interesting for Internet users than advertising that has no such personal reference. The insertion of these advertising materials on the pages of our partners is based on a cookie technology and an analysis of the previous usage behaviour. This form of advertising is pseudonymous at best. No personal data will be stored and no user profiles will be merged with data on your identity.

How can I prevent cookies from being stored?

In your browser you can set that a storage of cookies is only accepted if you agree. If you only want to accept the disconnected cookies but not the cookies of our service providers and partners, you can select the setting in your browser “Block third party cookies”.

Usually, the help function in the menu bar of your web browser shows you how you can reject new cookies and deactivate cookies already received.

We recommend that you always log out completely of shared computers that are set so that cookies and flash cookies are accepted.

4. Log files

Every time the pages of Abgeflogen are accessed, usage data is transmitted through the respective Internet browser and stored in log files, the so-called server log files. The data records stored in this way contain the following data: Date and time of access, name of the page accessed, IP address of your computer, referrer URL (originating URL from which you accessed the website), the amount of data transferred, as well as product and version information of the browser used.

The IP addresses of the users are deleted or made anonymous after the end of use. In the case of anonymisation, the IP addresses are changed in such a way that the individual information about personal or factual circumstances can no longer be assigned to a specific or identifiable natural person, or only with a disproportionately large expenditure of time, cost and manpower.

We evaluate these log file data records in anonymous form in order to further improve our offer and the online shop and to make it more user-friendly, to find and correct errors more quickly and to control server capacities. For example, it is possible to trace when the use of the online shop is particularly popular and provide the corresponding data volume in order to guarantee you the fastest possible purchase. In addition, by analyzing the log files, we can identify and correct any errors in our online shop more quickly.

5. Google

Google Analytics is a service of Google Inc, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (“Google”). Google Analytics uses “cookies”, which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyze how users use the site. The cookie collects information about the use of our website (including your IP address), transmits it to Google and stores it there. Please note that the code “gat._anonymizeIp();” has been added to Google Analytics in order to ensure anonymous collection of IP addresses (so-called IP masking). Your IP address is therefore only recorded by Google at our request in a shortened form, which guarantees anonymisation and does not allow any conclusions to be drawn about your identity. Google will reduce your IP address in Member States of the European Union or in other countries party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area beforehand. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. Google also respects the privacy provisions of the U.S. Safe Harbor Agreement and is registered with the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Safe Harbor Program. Google will use this information to evaluate your use of our website, to compile reports on website activities for us and to provide us with further services associated with the use of websites and the Internet. The IP address transmitted by your browser in the context of Google Analytics is not merged with other Google data. A transfer of this data by Google to third parties only takes place due to legal regulations or within the scope of order data processing. Under no circumstances will Google match your data with other data collected by Google.

You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser, however please note that if you do this you may not be able to use the full functionality of our website. You can also prevent Google from collecting the data generated by the cookie and relating to your use of this website (including your IP address) and from processing this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available under the following Link.

Use of Google Adwords conversion tracking
We use the online advertising program “Google AdWords” and conversion tracking as part of Google AdWords. The Google Conversion Tracking is an analysis service of Google Inc. (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA; “Google”). When you click on an ad served by Google, a conversion tracking cookie is placed on your computer. These cookies lose their validity after 30 days, do not contain any personal data and are therefore not used for personal identification.
If you visit certain pages of our website and the cookie has not yet expired, Google and we can recognize that you clicked on the ad and were redirected to this page. Each Google AdWords customer receives a different cookie. This means that it is not possible to track cookies on the websites of AdWords customers.
The information collected using the conversion cookie is used to generate conversion statistics for AdWords customers who have opted for conversion tracking. Customers can see the total number of users who clicked on their ad and were redirected to a page with a conversion tracking tag. However, you will not receive any information that personally identifies users.
If you do not wish to participate in tracking, you can object to this use by preventing the installation of cookies by setting your browser software accordingly (deactivation option). They are then not included in the conversion tracking statistics. Further information and Google’s privacy policy can be found at:,

6. Social Plugins

Our website uses social plugins (“plugins”) from various social networks. With the help of these plugins you can, for example, share content or recommend products. The plugins are deactivated by default on the website and therefore do not send any data. By clicking on the button “Activate Social Media” you can activate all plugins (so-called 2-click solution).

If these plugins are activated, your browser establishes a direct connection to the servers of the respective social network as soon as you visit a website on our website. The content of the plugin (including the IP address of your computer) is transmitted directly from the social network to your browser and integrated into the website. Of course, the plugins can be deactivated with one click.

By integrating the plugins, the social network receives the information that you have called up the corresponding page of our Internet presence. If you are logged in to the social network, it can assign the visit to your account. When you interact with the plugins, for example by clicking the Facebook “I like” button or making a comment, the corresponding information is transmitted directly from your browser to the social network and stored there.

The purpose and scope of the data collection and the further processing and use of the data by social networks as well as your relevant rights and setting options for the protection of your privacy can be found in the data protection information of the respective networks or websites. You will find the links below.

If you do not want social networks to collect data about you via our website, you must log out of these networks before visiting our website or have the plug-ins on our site deactivated.

Even if you are not logged in to the social networks, data can be sent to the networks from websites with active social plug-ins. With an active plugin, a cookie with an identifier is set each time the website is called. Since your browser sends this cookie with every connection to a network server without being asked, the network could in principle create a profile of which websites the user belonging to the identification has called. And it would then also be quite possible to assign this identifier to a person again later – for example when logging on to the social network later.

On our websites we use the following plugins:

through which various social networks such as Facebook, Google+, Twitter and Pinterest can be reached.

If you do not want social networks to collect data about you via active plug-ins, you can either simply deactivate the social plug-ins with a click on our websites or select the function “Block third party cookies” in your browser settings. In this case, the browser does not send cookies to the server for embedded content from other providers. With this setting, however, other cross-page functions may no longer work in addition to the plugins.

6.1 Facebook
In particular, we may use plugins of the social network, which is operated by Facebook Inc, 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA (“Facebook”). The link to Facebook’s privacy policy can be found here:

6.2 AddThis
We use plugins of the bookmarking service AddThis, Inc. operated by AddThis, 1595 Spring Hill Rd, Suite 300, Vienna, VA 22182, USA (“AddThis”). In particular, various social networks can be reached via this service. The link to AddThis’ privacy policy can be found here:

7. Secure data transmission

Your personal data is transmitted securely by encryption. This applies to your order and also to the customer login. We use the SSL (Secure Socket Layer) coding system. No one can guarantee absolute protection. However, we protect our websites and other systems by technical and organizational measures against loss, destruction, access, modification or distribution of your data by unauthorized persons.

8. Rights of the data subject to obtain information

According to the Federal Data Protection Act, our customers have, among other things, a right to free information about their stored data, as well as, if necessary, a right to correction, blocking or deletion of data.

We take the protection of your data very seriously. To ensure that personal data is not disclosed to third parties, please send your request by e-mail or by post, clearly identifying yourself:
